Chemical related waste can contain ZDHC MRSL substances. If not handled, stored, transported or disposed of properly, these substances can cause harm to human health and/or the environment. Therefore, chemical related waste can be categorised as hazardous waste. 

The requirements for chemical-related waste are:

Segregate waste for storage in a waste yard

Quantify waste types to plan actions on disposal and reduction

Ensure safe storage, handling and transportation of waste

Conduct a waste assessment
