Chemical Traceability

Chemical traceability is the ability to track chemicals and related information within operations and through the supply chain. It enables better oversight, supports responsible sourcing and provides the transparency needed to identify risks, verify claims and demonstrate compliance.

There are three requirements for traceability:

Lot/batch numbers
Record lot/batch numbers of all chemicals purchased by the facility

First-in-first-out
Implement a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system

Implement a system of traceability
