Suspension and Termination

Version 1 - Last updated 01 Jul 2026

Suspension may occur for reasons including, but not limited to, the following non-exhaustive list:

  •  Cases of major unresolved and repeated non-conformities
  • Concerns related to data integrity, reliability, or transparency
  • Failure to maintain required competence, performance or quality management standards
  • Failure to implement or demonstrate corrective actions
  • Failure to co-operate with investigations, reviews, or quality assurance activities.

All suspension and removal decisions are documented and formally communicated.

There are two types of suspension :

1. Temporary suspension

The objective of this suspension is to provide the solution provider with the necessary window to conduct a comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement robust Corrective Action Plans (CAP). This period allows for a systematic review of all previously delivered services to mitigate potential technical risks. The suspension is a temporary measure and will be lifted upon the verified resolution of the identified non-conformities.

2. Termination

Results from a failed CAP or repeated major non-conformity, leading to the indefinite removal of the provider. Termination is the final revocation of ZDHC-approved status due to a breach of the Service Agreement or actions that compromise the integrity of the Roadmap to Zero Programme.

Comprehensive records are maintained within the Solution Provider Platform application documentation, evaluation reports, approval decisions, risk classifications if needed, performance records, quality findings, incident logs, corrective actions, and suspension/ removal of suspension.
