The previous six requirements have been consolidated into three, with the requirement wording updated to align with StZ V2. Requirements relating to the identification, segregation, quantification, handling, and transport of chemical waste have been integrated into a single requirement with supporting guidance, providing a more streamlined and comprehensive approach to chemical waste management.

Previous requirements:

1. Identify waste types

2. Maintain a waste inventory

3. Segregate waste for storage in a waste yard

4. Quantify waste types to plan actions on disposal and reduction

5. Ensure safe storage, handling and transportation of waste

6. Conduct a waste assessment

Updated requirements:

1. Chemical-related waste is stored appropriately and safely

2. A chemical-related waste inventory is maintained

3. A chemical-related waste assessment is conducted periodically


Identification, segregation, quantification, handling and transport expectations are incorporated within a single requirement and supporting guidance
