Implement laboratory analytic quality assurance

Version 1 - Last updated 01 Jul 2026

Implementation of a robust analytical quality assurance framework is mandatory to guarantee the technical validity of all wastewater and sludge testing results. These requirements mandate the integration of standardised quality control measures, including method blanks, matrix spikes, and duplicate analysis, to eliminate analytical bias and ensure high-level data reproducibility.

The specific quality assurance measures are detailed in the Minimum Quality Assurance Measures for Organic Chemical Analysis Table

Quality system specific to wastewater

The quality assurance testing in the table below is required for each ZDHC wastewater parameter. This data may be requested and used by ZDHC to assess data quality and validate the analytical results.
