Implementing the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme requires brands to establish a clear and accountable foundation for action. This begins with a formal public commitment that defines intent and sets expectations for suppliers, partners and internal teams. That commitment must then be embedded into organisational structures through aligned strategies, senior management support and defined responsibilities. Finally, a sustainable chemical management policy is needed to translate commitments into consistent practice, ensuring that the principles of the Roadmap to Zero guide decision-making across the value chain.
